These suspected drug dealers got high. Really high. But the marijuana they allegedly hoped to deliver won't be getting anyone high. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection found more than 260 pounds of marijuana bundled tightly together in San Diego last Monday, and arrested two men who allegedly showed up to claim the prize, NBC Bay Area reported.
People are still smuggling weed huh? In California? This is like trying to smuggle alcohol into the US these days. Someone needs to send the memo down to Mexico. Newsflash, it's legal in Cali. you just need a BS prescription and you can grow and sell it legally. Seems to me that going to the doctor and saying you have "insomnia" and then getting a prescription is a little easier than the ol' "drop 260 pounds from the sky" technique. Someone has seen Scarface too many times and wants to create more work for themselves. It's the 21st century. The days of meeting someone behind the Del Taco for a dub sack are over.
